Cury Construtora is launching its second development in the Port Zone, Rio Energy. After the resounding sales success of the Rio Wonder, which had more than 1200 units sold in record time. The sales stand of the company’s new development in Porto Maravilha opens on Saturday, January 8th.
The new condominium will have studio apartments, one, two, or three bedrooms, with a balcony and suite option, in addition to a parking space and complete leisure facilities. The size of the units varies between the most compact of 33 m2 and 70.03 m2. With an average sale value of R$300 thousand, it aims to reach people with a family income of around R$5,000. The expectation is to repeat the remarkable success registered with its first project in the region, launched in 2021. Its units were sold out in just over four months.
The launch of the Wonder River placed Cury among the most important and talked-about construction companies in the city. Against the pessimism that has inhabited the minds of Cariocas in recent times, the company surprised brokers and developers by investing in the region that is a darling of Mayor Eduardo Paes, Porto Maravilha.
“We believe in the potential of the region, which provides mobility, leisure, and convenience for its future residents. In this way, Rio Energy provides the opportunity for people to live close to their places of work, avoiding the need for long distances. The City Hall of Rio is committed to revitalizing the region, which makes the region increasingly attractive, due to its infrastructure“, highlights Leonardo Mesquita, commercial vice-president of Cury Construtora.
Rio Energy will have 793 apartments, divided into two blocks. The land, located on the corner of Cordeiro da Graça and Ecuador streets, in Santo Cristo, is part of the Ernesto Nazareth Walk, a large urban park delivered as part of the Porto Maravilha revitalization works. The Passeio is at the heart of the Porto Art District, the most extensive open-air urban art gallery in Latin America, launched in October and sponsored by Cury.
Residents will have a swimming pool, rooftops, lounge and barbecue, court, playground, food square, open-air cinema (the new trend is now to watch open-air cinema), social square, zen space with sauna, pet place, gym, space CrossFit, bike rack, ballroom, ballroom lounge, game room, laundry, accessible market, coworking, workshop, pet care and area with intelligent lockers.
The location is privileged, with a vast transport network close to the VLT. In addition, the Rio City Hall has revitalized the Porto Maravilha region. Today, it has tourist and cultural attractions, such as the Museum of Tomorrow, AquaRio, Rio Star, and the Rio Art Museum, in addition to leisure areas.
For Marcos Rocha, director of Sergio Castro Imóveis in the Porto Maravilha region, where the company has a branch in a centenary historic townhouse, the launch of the São Paulo company should be another success. “The demand for real estate in the port has grown. The sale of second-hand vehicles has increased, and places like Condomínio Moradas da Saúde even have a waiting list. Things got better when huge corporate buildings like Vista Guanabara and Aqwa were fully occupied. The lines to eat in the restaurants look like the INSS agency-line“, said, jokingly, the realtor.
Market information reveals that the same Cury is soon preparing a significant launch of apartments on Avenida Presidente Vargas, at the heart of the Reviver Centro project, which does not extend to the port region but has attracted the attention and eyes of the entire market. Real estate in the city, on account of the considerations offered by the Municipality to those who invest in the conversion or construction of residential properties in the central region.
