The weather forecast for Rio de Janeiro in the first week of 2022 is cloudy days, but with a feeling of heat, in addition to the typical summer rains, which cause the risk of flooding and landslides.
This Monday (03/01), the day will be sunny among clouds with rain showers late afternoon. The temperature should vary between 22ºC and 32ºC.
On Tuesday and Wednesday (04 and 05/01), the forecast is that the days will be similar, with the temperature varying between 22ºC and 35ºC and chances of rain.
Summer 2022 promises to be a little “colder” but keeps the maximums above the historical average. The warmer season should also have less rain than usual. All because of the weather phenomenon is known as La Niña. The initial warning was issued by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
